Taylor liked being a play bear so he never let himself see Krissy as anything but a friend. Krissy has always loved Taylor but maybe she should move on with her life. The story is a friends to lovers that makes you feel good at the end. I like watching Kissy and Taylor both grow in their transition from friends.
Thoroughly enjoyed reading this couple's story very much. Eagerly waiting for the next book in this series. Thank you for writing this story. It was great

This is such a sweet, romantic and heartwarming kind of story. I really enjoyed reading it and loved all the characters, especially Taylor and Krissy. They are both perfect for each other and their story is quite passionate. I think it is a must read for all paranormal romance lovers. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.Krissy has always been the one to take care of her family and be responsible at work. She doesn't know how to be selfish. For her, work is everything. Taylor is her boss' brother and she has been crushing on him for a long time now. But as far as he is concerned she doesn't even exist. She is like a little sister to him and there is no way he would ever think of her as anything else. At least, that is what Krissy thinks. Taylor likes her but the problem is that he isn't the settling type of bear and Krissy deserves so much better than him. At least, that's what he thinks. Maybe they are both right or maybe not but will they be able to figure it all out or not is another story...To be honest, I don't read paranormal romance as much as I used to. These days I only pick up paranormal fiction if it is an author I have read and loved before and C.D. Gorri is one such author. For me, she the author whose writing style and characters are perfection. I have yet to read a book by her that I didn't absolutely love. So, if you haven't read any of her books before, I highly recommend them. Her paranormal world is simply amazing. The best thing is that these books are fast paced and quick reads. I love it because I don't like spending too much time on a book. I know how readers say that they didn't want their favorite book to end but I am not that kind of reader. I am a very impatient reader. When I start a book, if it is good then I want to end it quickly because I simply can't put it down before finishing the story and finding out how it ends. So, for me the best kind books are the ones that I can read in one sitting, i.e. two to three hours straight. That's why I feel that these stories are perfect for me and everyone else who is like me. ;)
I absolutely love this book and the completely obtuse Taylor. He has been ignoring his bear since the holiday party and wonder's why his bear goes nuts when "Dimples" is kissing another bear. She has known he was her mate since she was 13, but at the last holiday party he denied he would ever be "her" mate. She finally has enough and tries to get him out of her mind with a kiss from a hot stranger. Now Taylor is interfering because he is a protective brother, or is it something else. She cannot trust that he would ever want her, he can and has had almost all the other women in their town. Can she gain her HEA and will it be with Taylor. Read this absolutely wonderful tale that has an interesting surprise for all the brothers of Bear Claw Bakery

Krissy has know that Taylor is her mate for years. When she finally worked up the courage to tell him, he let her down gently and ran. He's a player but he's also her boss (he and his brothers own the bakery that she manages). She's managed to hide her feelings for years but one day she has had enough and decides to have a little fun. She's doing just that when Taylor shows up goes berserk. He's finally figured out what she's known all along but between having been with every woman in the area (and her knowing about it) and her taking care of her family and everyone else with nothing for herself, he doesn't feel worthy. There are more twists and turns and lots of interaction with his brothers as he tries to earn her love. I started with this book but am now going back to get book 1. We do meet all the brothers in this book but it works fine as a standalone. If you like bear shifters, this was a fun, fast and easy read. (I voluntarily reviewed an ARC).
